We highlight words we know. We highlight words in books we read. We read with our friends. And we write words we know. Look at us work!

We READ and WRITE every day!

Reading and writing are not natural for survival skill learning. However, in today's world, successful people know how to read and write well. If you teach your child one thing at a time, reading and writing will become natural for them. It's a slow process and it requires lots of hard work and patience and guidance.

We write in our journals.
We read small books.
We identify the beginning sounds of words.
We find letters and words in print.
And we ENJOY books then talk about them!
