Science... EXPLORING THEORIES of Why Dinosaurs Died
Students have been reading dinosaur books at home. We held a discussion about why the dinosaurs don't roam the earth any longer. Answers included: The volcano got them. Fire balls fell down from heaven. The earth was too cold. The dinosaurs ran out of food. Their eggs froze.
I told the students to thank their parents for reading about dinosaurs to them. Lester said, "Actually, my mom read this information to me off the Internet, not from my dinosaur book." How could I forget we're in the age of technology?!
