Woodlawn Adopts a Lady Tiger

Our school adopted LSU's Lady Tiger Theresa Plaisance. She came to our school to tell us how important sports and education is to her. Adrienne got to ask her a question and then we gave her a goodies basket from Kindergarten.

She is 6'5". Wowzie!

Veteran's Day Flags

Some students used a ruler and some students made their own lines to make an American Flag. Don't they look great on our door?!

Making Reindeer

We worked together to trace our foot and two hands to make a reindeer to paint. Look at our art work. It's so cute!

Sabrey is Celebrated

Sabrey won our November Cub Cafe' luncheon in the library. Here she is enjoying her lunch!

Guest Speaker from Africa

Our guest speaker has lived many years in Botswana. He is wearing a men's wedding shirt in the picture. He brought artifacts from Africa and wooden art work and lots of wildlife pictures he took, among other things.

Mr. Glen Read a Book in C-11

Mr. Glen read Big Al to our class. Then he showed us maps for fishing in South Louisiana. He showed a huge rod and reel for deep sea fishing and very big fish baits for deep sea fishing. Thanks Mr. Glen for the goodies you left for us. And Scout was the lucky winner of the book that was read aloud to us. Enjoy the book Scout.
