P. Riddle's Class Blog Rm. C-11
This blog has many purposes. One, it lets parents view what is happening with their children at school. Two, it is reading and writing material for my kindergarten students. Three, it is inspiration to other kindergarten teachers since I have been motivated many times by what other teachers have set up on-line. ENJOY MY BLOG!!!

Free Time
Some of our favorite free time activities are playing vet, dollhouse furniture, class blog, snap cubes, and blocks.
Cream to Butter
Abdias wanted a snack one day so we made butter and had it on some crackers. It was so yummy. Everyone helped shake the jar to make the butter.
Granny Brought Sophie Belle, Ms. Kornuta Brought Toby!
A Donkey Named SPECIAL
Cecelia's mom met a donkey in her neighborhood and invited him to come to school to meet our students. Isn't he sooooo cute?!
The Mississippi River
New Rouge
We made a city we named New Rouge. We started with each table coloring a sentence strip for our river. Then everybody built their own house. Next, we needed businesses that would give us things we needed and wanted. Finally, bridges and roads and cars were brought in and we got to play in our city.
It was so neat to see how there was first only wilderness and then a populated city developed, which is exactly what happened in all of our cities way back when. I hope they remember this concept for a long time to come.
